| Bio: | They call me Dia. I'm a photographer , lover, mother of five (three bio, two non-bio), and one kick ass gal. Seriously. I've worked with some really big bands (promo work and live shots), toured with some really big bands.. seen almost all of the world minus one really cold place at the very top of the world. Have a very quirky personality, straight shoot you but most of all through my brutal honesty I AM a really sweet gal. When I make friends I keep them near or far. I'm a transplant from Greatest Journal. Had one for over five years, helped on the abuse/photo team and when they suggested here I thought why not! Made many friends there that I have met in real time, and will keep for ages to come. Please feel free to add me. I do update with a lot of photos (behind a cut), interviews.. and the fun times when random bands stay at our house instead of in hotels and our kids wow them with their own songs. The guy and I have been together for quite sometime now and I am in love. He's a really great guy, dedicated, and loving regardless of what some may see :P Real love, so none of that trying to e-hookup crap. That being said feel free to add my myspace as well. I keep up with that most. I'll add photos and a real good bio up soon! My journal is to write about  and small ones, and everything in between. I'm raw in my emotions and bite my lip not often enough. Sometimes it can get boring in here when I oogle over my boys. Sometimes it's informational with upcoming tours, or you get to see some promo shots/photo working before it gets into/on the big cds... sometimes you can hear gossip, see the backstage life. or maybe be moved by something thing I have went through.. such as I'm a cancer survivor. I'm not here to please people by making it interesting this really is for the purpose of keeping up with my life. :) Seriously, I have an awesome life. -  -I have an amazing boyfriend who I love more than I could ever explain. sub sequentially we have a strange addiction to starbucks and give each other gifts dealing with it all the time  -We make awesome babies.  Our recent addition is Jackson who is now three months old and warms our hearts daily. He is adorable and the model baby. We could not have him teach teenagers a lesson to not have a baby young, if we tried every teen would be reproducing at an alarming rate. -  Speaking of babies, we have five total between the two of us. Long story but it's works well. We are the brady bunch, very in love, and very much.. dedicated to the world of music. His job and mine! -I have an awesome job. On a regular basis , people eat my face off.  (joe from skinless taking a bite). Rock my face off...  Me and Nate (Through the eyes of the dead). and basically want me to make them look good ;) I'm a concert photographer but I love all aspects of the art. I do promo work, head shots,portraits, set ups, fashion, weddings, you name it. It allows me to do stuff at night when all the kids are sleeping and still somehow be Martha Stewart when the sun comes up. I"m Italian... thus I love to cook,eat, and take care of my family. We are the new wave brady bunch. Right now we moved to a new house, a new area, and have a new child. Top this off the man just took sole ownership of his company. Speaking of that my guy owns crowncases, he basically makes all the carrying equipment for major touring bands, lighting companies, etc. You will see his work on all the major tours I.E. Ozzfest. He's worked with bands such as The Red Chord (I have as well I've done promo work I love them guys!),White Chapel, Between the buried and me, Lamb of God, Skinless, Fergie (yep :P), the list goes on and on. With his job it helps my job, you see why we are so good? Music is very important to me and I love all except country. If I wanted to be so depressed I could always just dig into my memory books. Incubus is my favorite band I've seen them 34 times when I was not on tour with them. I have toured with them ten times all over the world.
